Patience is rarely praised because it produces no immediate evidence of itself.

It looks like stillness. It looks like delay. It looks like someone doing nothing.

But patience is not nothing. It is the unseen scaffolding of any serious life.

The best writers are not necessarily the fastest. They are simply the ones who can endure the slow seasons without fleeing into novelty.

A thought requires time to become trustworthy. A sentence requires time to become clean. A book requires time to become honest.

Today I watched my own impatience arise—not with drama, but with a small irritation at the pace of my work. I wanted the page to yield faster.

But the page does not respond to urgency. It responds to devotion.
